Sort of on topic: With Jaime leaving, wtf is Bronn gonna do? He's no fan of Cersei, and we know Lena and Jerome have beef (allegedly, anyway), so I can't imagine him sticking around and chilling with her. I think Bronn leaves with Dany and co. after the Dragonpit.

I assume this scene filmed at Trujillo Castle back in November must be when Jaime and Bronn see Unsullied and Dothraki outside the walls of King's Landing, which frikidoctor described in his video for 707. Not entirely sure though.

I like "The Fall", but isn't it a bit to spoilery? Lots of people already believe the Wall is going to fall in the finale, this would only make them certain. "The Wall" would make more sense then. The sixth episode is titled Beyond The Wall. So appropriate title for followup episode would be The Wall.

Considering that they seem to like these days using names of places as title episodes, I wouldn't rule out "The Pit" as a possible one. It would work for the Dragonpit scene, the pit where Littlefinger will fall after his long climbing and maybe as a metaphor of Westeros impeding doom.

I don't know, I really like either "The Great War" or perhaps "The War to Come". Of course those might be saved for Season 8.
"The Pit" is good, so is "Parlay"
The end is near, are we ready?

If Dany legitimizes Gendry and one of Oberyn's remaining daughters (for poetic reasons hopefully Elia) she could get the last two pretty quickly. The same can be said for getting Edmure on-side, given that the Freys are gone. Dany could make those moves pretty early in s8. The real question is would Sam accept the Reach from Dany after what she did to his brother. You're right about Gendry, that seems like something that's bound to happen. And the Sam problem will be interesting. I have a feeling Dorne won't be mentioned again but if they want to they could just say someone loyal to Dany rules there now.
Yeah, I think it's pretty clear the show wants to forget about Dorne. Most of the GA don't even remember that Obie had other daughters.

I think Bronn leaves with Dany and co. after the Dragonpit. This would be great Can you imagine if season 8 Winterfell opens like Season one, with the arrival of Jon and Dany arriving with the Hound, Bronn, Tyrion, Brie, and Varys? Then you have Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Sam meeting them? Okay sort of Bran meeting them. Maybe mix in Jaime, suppose he stops off in the Riverlands and releases Edmure of his vow. Comes up with some troops from the Riverlands. Though the Riverlands may get no mention. But who knows.

I would love them all head from Winterfell. What a collection that would be! The North, the Riverlands, the Vale, the Dragons, the Dothraki, the Unsullied, and one lone direwolf.

Wonder what S8 has in store for Varys. He can't really contribute in the war against the WW. I guess he'll update the others on whats going on in the south.

I long for a scene between Jon and Dany in Season 8, where he introduces her to Ghost "He's not a dragon, but he's as loyal and brave as one..." as she cautiously but curiously reaches out to touch his fur....... A girl can dream.....

Been gone a couple of days on a last minute vacation with the kid before school starts next week.
Carried this over from the old thread because it's something I had thought of as well:
@roose said:
I kind of thought this was a great opportunity for Rhaegal to swoop down and pick up Jon at the last minute before the horde of undead closed in on him. The fandom would have shit themselves!
But I guess that's not the direction they wanted to go with it and if Jon ever ends up riding Rhaegal maybe they're holding that off for Season 8.
They also probably wanted a heroic ending for Benjen though I really expected to see him as part of the 'dream team' much earlier in that storyline.
ETA since I'm on the topic of the dragons, I watched the ep. a second time last night while on an overnight trip and it actually hit me harder the second time around. Viserion's death was very shocking and sad... when he sunk into the lake with all that blood on the snow and ice, his eyes closed... it just hurt a lot! Poor Viserion and Rhaegal were sort of the forgotten dragons (not as bad as the direwolves but still) and I feel worse for them than Drogon who even took a bolt to the shoulder during the big loot train battle. That didn't hurt nearly as much as watching Viserion's neck exploding in fire like that and him sinking into the lake. My breath and heart caught in my throat. They are so good at bringing these dragons to life!
