But now everyone is saying it is predictable and they knew for years that she will land there. Lol No one said it was predictable. It's fitting for her character. There's a difference. We are not everyone, either. The masses elsewhere can argue all they want about what is predictable in a story that sorry to say, has been a typical fantasy good vs. evil story from the beginning. We here are smart enough to acknowledge that. It's the characters who are unpredictable. Last year after the ending in the finale, we debated where Daenerys would land. Most said Dorne because of having Ellaria and Dorne's full support and ships and that it would make more sense strategically to move troops up the coast as a war campaign similar to how fAegon and crew did it since many believed her story was taking on elements of that one (ie. Jorah with Grayscale instead of Griff). I am glad they just cut right to the point and had her land in her home castle. It makes things much more interesting immediately and with 7 episodes there's no time to waste.

Whoa, what Jon cloaking Dany scene? I haven't heard about this. Such a smooth move! It's from this scene, which will take place in 703. She's looking back at Jon and he comes over to presumably put his cloak around her because she's cold. Which going off of how windy it was that day filming, makes sense: But where is the source for this because Lads never mentioned suc a scene, in fact we have Dany looking on the pictures fairly normal and not freezing or being cold. Besides cloaking a complete stranger in the same episode you meet and act coldly towards one another.

So take it with a grain of salt then.

Also greenchili figured out that Cersei and Jaime meeting with Euron is Scene 17 from the premiere.

Also greenchili figured out that Cersei and Jaime meeting with Euron is Scene 17 from the premiere. I would say this essentially confirms that scene 15 is Sansa and LF talking up on the walls and that scene 16 is Jaime and Cersei seeing Euron's ships arrive from KL's battlements.

lmfao how is this going to go like? so there's the map scene with jaime and cersei in which i guess jaime is angry at cersei and then she somehow manages to appease him for a little bit so he watches as euron coms to KL with her and talks to euron with her??? i really want to know for sure whether that speech scene from the trailer is from the premiere or not? that would clear up some things.

Last scene before Dragonstone, perhaps 17's more like the halfway point of the episode. Oldtown looks like it'll be the last stuff before Dragonstone. There's a huge gap of unknown scenes between scene 17 and 39 (the first Oldtown scene) though.

Last scene before Dragonstone, perhaps Dany arriving at Dragonstone isn't until Scene 49 so it's pretty early. He has the scene numbers we know so far here: green-chili.blogspot.de/

Ugh! I resisted going to green chili's blog up to this point. I felt like I was better off being a little confused. He's way too organized and so I'll just peek at 7x01 stuff and promise myself to leave the rest alone. PS: didn't green chili used to be part of our old forum? Wish he'd join us here!

Yeah, I'm not going there, I already know too much. I think I'm going to stay away from this thread too, I just saw some scene numbers and I want a little surprise while I watch the episode.

The only confirmed scene that seems like it will take place between Scene 17 (Cersei and Jaime meet Euron in the Red Keep Throne Room) and Scene 39 (Sam in the Oldtown autopsy chamber) is Arya's encounter with the group of Lannister soldiers that includes Ed Sheeran. There have to be a few scenes in the premiere that we don't know anything about, which is an exciting prospect, given how much we know about the overall structure of the season as a whole.
My guess would be that most of those scenes will be smaller, interior scenes involving only two or three characters - the kind of scene that wouldn't necessarily be featured in a trailer or draw one's eye when reviewing the scripts, but which serve to set up future developments or establish the mindset of certain characters ... say, a Jaime and Bronn scene in King's Landing with Bronn needling Jaime about his situation, or a Cersei and Qyburn scene in Qyburn's laboratory where they talk about the looming threat of Daenerys. In Winterfell, perhaps we see a Jon and Davos scene in which the King and his de facto Hand discuss plans for the North, or a Sansa and Brienne scene where they address Sansa's frustrations. That kind of stuff. Superficially, not the most exciting, but such establishing scenes are the foundation on which a lot of the great drama that we expect from the show is laid.
The wild card is the potential action scene involving the Sand Snakes that we were discussing a few pages ago. The original plan seemed to be that we wouldn't see any of Dany's forces before she arrived at Dragonstone, but perhaps that has changed.

So take it with a grain of salt then. I wondered about this too. While it would be cute for a first/second meeting, I don't think that Jon would cloak her at that moment. Someone mentioned that this could be before Dragonpit and the more I think about it, the more I hope it is. That look she gives in the trailer is tender and vulnerable, Dany would never show that to someone she just met and didn't trust. It would make sense that Jon would cloak her in the lead up to boat sex.
