So, I'm not sure if y'all talked about this already in the previous Leakbowl thread after the trailer dropped (the pages went pretty fast then!) but I was just listening to a theory video (a really bad one) and the guy brought up this BTS shot of Brienne's body double at Winterfell. His theory was something goes down between Brienne and the Knights of the Vale for threatening LF (wtf?) which sounds stupid, but what do you think they're using a body double for Brienne here for?

It was said somewhere that Brienne will have action scene(s) this year, and yet there is nothing about that in the leaks.

Could be something as simple as a stand in? I can't see why she'd throw down with any Vale knights.

This is where Tormund tells Brienne about Sheila the Bear. This is especially hilarious when you consider the look on her (male) body double's face.

it hasn't even been a week since the trailer release and yet we're already bored enough to have debates lol. It's because the leaks, I think. In past season, the trailer keep us speculating and dissecting every bit of it for several weeks. But we already know basically everything important about the next season, so it's natural not analyze so much the trailer this time and, instead of that, debating some other topics.

It's ironic considering the final shot of S6 with Dany and her massive fleet, but I'm not sure Cersei completely wins here. Cersei suffers a miscarriage and Jaime leaves her, two things I think will affect her quite emotionally.

It's ironic considering the final shot of S6 with Dany and her massive fleet, but I'm not sure Cersei completely wins here. C ersei suffers a miscarriage and Jaime leaves her, two things I think will affect her quite emotionally. honestly since cersei seemed to be the underdog in regards to followers and the size of her army at the end of season 6 we should have seen this coming. D&D usually have the military underdogs win in some way. the lannisters had the tyrells save them during blackwater, and the starks had the vale save them during BOTB. with the emphasis of dany's power at the end of season 6...this was the obvious outcome we never saw. and oh yeah totally. i just meant more on the political/military front. its so interesting that all of cersei's losses/hardships are intimate and personal to her (prophecy, marital rape, being treated as a pawn by tywin, walk of shame, losing her children, losing her beauty) rather than the classic villain demise that people want.

The conversation about what will happened in Season 8 regarding who lives and who dies, has been moved to the Season 8 Speculation Thread.

Funny note on the Gold Company, when it comes to Westeros, they are never on the winning team.
Doesn't sound to me like Cersei does all that well at the Battle. Tarly's get wrecked, Lannisters get rolled, somehow the slowest part of the convoy makes it KL and she hires the Gold Company but loses the Tarly's.
It is very D&D esq writing.
