They went out of the way to make her look pathetic and humiliate even in this regard. That was very low blow. I wonder why D&D hate this character so much to go that low, what Emilia have ever done to them??
Like destroying her character and making her go mad in the span of two episodes wasn’t enough.

You mean giving her the material that made many people who were critical of her acting before praise her?

Your earlier posts in this thread (the ones @kairos replied to) strongly implied that Jon's rejection was the sole reason or one of the biggest reasons. Which is obviously not the case. It was the big thing in this episode because the show is episodic and it has to stop and start somewhere, but I would say that it was pretty small-potatoes in comparison to what came before. But it was just a trigger. Triggers don't need to be something huge.

No, by humiliating and destroying character that she hold very dear to her heart and identify with like she told us many times.
I am very curious what she is going to say weeks from now when the dust settles.

If she wins an Emmy for this season, then probably "thank you". 

I have no doubt that Emilia was disappointed, but at the end of the day, she's an actress and this is the sort of meaty part that actors dream of. I don't think she'd have been THAT upset about it.

I think we can at least all agree that Emilia Clarke did her best work this season and she deserves all the recognition and awards for it.
