We've known for a long time that Emilia wasn't happy to be fair. She has always been cagey about how it ends. I think we just didn't take it seriously. But honestly, as much as I'm sure Emilia loves Dany and is disappointed this happened, it is better for her career and could potentially see her win an emmy so I think she's good. Winning Emmy is a long shot. Remember Lena? But if anyone deserves it is Emilia but no one else really. Emilia made a fortune on this so 'this poor thing' I've seen on a lot of places, all that is kind of too much. She's a big girl and survived a lot worse very few people can imagine. |

Can I just say that I hate the take that Cersei is Jaime’s own personal brand of heroin or whatever? It’s so dehumanizing and gross. Acting as if Cersei is a succubus of men or something lol.
I hate that the D’s said that Jaime is “addicted” to Cersei. Why couldn’t they just be normal and say that he couldn’t stand the thought of her dying because she’s his sister, lover, mother of his children?
Jaime/Cersei is a mutually codependent relationship but I CANNOT stand equating Cersei to a damn drug lol. It’s not her fault Jaime is so obsessed with her.
i hate seeing tweets like this lol and there are soooo many of them

Woke up this morning and decided I want a Robert’s Rebellion series or movie, just so I can have an excuse to see Cersei again, even if it’s just for like 5 minutes.

He is addicted and one could say even more so than Cersei is to him because Jaime always has a chance to leave if he wants to, Cersei doesn't really. I agree though that the relationship should be described being a mutual addiction/obsession, not just talking about Cersei being like a drug. |

He was definitely obsessed with her. Madly in love is an understatement. Everything he did was for her. I guess you could say he was “addicted” to her for lack of a better word.

The drug analogy does make sense when you link it to the word "toxic" which is about the best description of Cersei and Jaime's relationship. They both enabled each other and often encouraged each of their worst instincts. Jaime clearly was able to see a path into being a better person when he was not around Cersei but the familiarity and their bond was too strong to overcome.
It's an interesting exercise to think about what Cersei would have become if Jaime wasn't there from the start.
