This is another subplot that sort of felt was out in left field somewhere and sort of weird. I guess it just seems completely unbelievable to me that fans think Bronn would actually go through with doing Cersei's bidding. He's worked for Tyrion and Jaime, never Cersei. She seems to forget he agreed to set up the meeting between Tyrion/Jaime last season and she even threatened Jaime with that knowledge. So this change of direction in wanting Bronn to assassinate them is odd and clunky. Oh, yes - I definitely agree! I was just wondering where it will fit in, since I can't imagine Bronn ever using it. But something will be done with it, methinks, else it wouldn't have been introduced the way it was. Honestly since the actors won't work together they just needed an excuse to move Bronn north. I think they wanted to create a minor subplot for him to keep fans guessing for a bit and continue with the theme of division. Really they should of just had him meet Jaime on the road. He could of just been like I didn't have anything better to do besides your sister hates me and wants me dead. The audience would of been fine with it and it's in keeping with his character. I do worry they are going to sell him out and have run from the battle or turn coward. When really despite Bronns complaints Jaime, Tyrion and Pod are his crew and they are tight. When Bronn thought the Dothraki were about to over run them he told Jaime to run while he held the line. I can't see him turning on them it would be so out of character.

So Yara is officially Queen of the Iron Islands as soon as she gets to Pyke, right? And she has Dany's blessing. That will make Euron king of nothing. Guessing he either marries Cersei or usurpes the throne... one of those things is bound to happen imo. I'm curious what Euron's going to do when he realizes Yara escaped and is back at Pyke. Won't he be pissed off and want to sail his fleet back there? I guess it will matter quite a deal if Cersei keeps stringing him along or actually goes through with marrying him. He can't stay in King's Landing and pursue the Iron Throne while at the same time claiming the Salt Throne which he already did. This could end up being a deal breaker. I guess he stays in KL and Cersei makes snarky remarks about it. I mean that's pretty much what filming dictates. Maybe part of his fleet dumps him. Pyke is gonna be all off screen, I am more curious about Theon. He wouldn't of headed towards Pyke, they were in the narrow sea, so his ship would be at White Harbor. They may say Yara sent some ships to help evacuate just in case. I think Theon will also point out that the Iron Islands are back on Dany and Jon's side though Euron still controls the fleet. I want to see Theon and Jon again, that talk he had with Theon was so well done. They worked well together.

Yeah I think losing the Salt Throne may give him that extra push to go all the way and take the Iron Throne for himself. It's the big prize, after all. Somewhat unrelated, but I think Theon may be the big death of episode 3. Feels like his time is up. And his last scene with Yara was pretty heartbreaking. I do think Alfie was spotted in Spain but he might have been one of the actors who was there for the documentary, and not any actual King's Landing scenes.

I mean KL is more important than Iron Islands. Yeah, though they've set up the importance of islands... We know Jon and Dany flee to Dragonstone. Maybe others flee to the Iron Islands, and this is how Yara becomes relevant again.

Well that's an odd turn of events since he went through all the trouble of taking out Balon, then the kingsmoot and drowning ritual plus refitting the entire Iron Island fleet. I mean, I get it, the Iron Throne is the BIG prize... and his conquest of Cersei is going well for him since she let him into her bed. I just thought that was a lot of effort he put into the Iron Islands to not give a shit when Yara takes it back from him.

It would be cool for Yara to show up and ferry the surviving Unsullied or Dothraki or Northerners over to the Iron Islands.

WW in KL is the ultimate merging of the storylines IMO.

Maybe that's why they're still giving a sunny look to King's Landing, to make it more striking when darkness finally hits.
